Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen things that I want to say at this very second...

1. I woke up nauseated today
2. So I'm sorta grumpy
3. I have the stupidest can opener in the world (Is "stupidest" a word?) Oh, and it took me ten minutes yesterday to open two cans. Ridiculous.
4. I feel really embarrassed about my post about my floor. I think I made people feel nervous to come to my house. Totally not my intention:( Should I erase it?
5. This list is going to get more positive in just a second. I promise.
6. My sister comes home in...let's see...30 hours or so:)))
7. I love making soup and I think it is the best thing I make.
8. I have a great tomato soup recipe...do you want to see it?
9. I'm really excited because Parker and I kind of got on a new schedule yesterday (finally!)
10. I feel big right now.
11. But that is okay, right? I'm pregnant for goodness sakes!
12. I bought this at Motherhood Maternity and I feel so much better!
13. So now I can wear my regular jeans and shirts and, really...what could be better?

Funny, I was talking about my wood floors in my last blog, but with more of a BAD attitude!

I can not keep them clean at this point...

2 dogs, no landscapeing, cement binder in the gravel, workers, 4 grandkids, adults, and
dust, dust, dust... When all that changes maybe I'll have a better attitude! : )

BTW Don't feel embarrassed and don't erase it! It was good to read!

Yes, post your tomato soup recipe! That sounds good right now!

God Bless,
Laurie

1. Absolutely do not erase the wood floors post!
2. It was one of my favorites.
3. Please post the tomato soup recipe!
4. I love your recipes :)
5. That tummy thing looks awesome!
6. I am definitely going to have to get one of those with the next one.
7. I'm so sorry that you feel sick today!
8. What's Parker's new schedule like?
9. I really like this Thursday Thirteen thing.
10. I might have to try it on my blog.
11. Except that b/c today's is the 17th, I am doing a post on Audrey.
12. Oh, well. Maybe next week.
13. I love you!!!

Don't erase the post! And DON'T feel embarrased! It's just dirt we're talking about anyway. ; )

Sorry you feel yucky but glad you found a must have for pregnacy! Beats the rubberband thing any day!

Please post your soup recipe... especially since fall is on it's way. Yikes!

Amy,

Please erase the post about your floors. I was very uncomfortable with it and probably will not come over ever again.

That is, unless, Joel brings over some of those footie things you wear in surgery over your shoes... then maybe - with my feet wrapped within a sterile field - I will feel safe returning to your home.

Completely Put Off,
DD

PS) Please post the soup recipe, thanks.

I love making soup, too! It is almost the perfect food! If you could get chocolate into it, it would be. Wait, that's fondue.

Fun list!

My Thursday Thirteen is up!

Happy Thursday! 

Just stumbled upon your site for the first time! I like your site and enjoyed reading your list! Sounds to me like you need a new can opener!

Have a great Thursday!

I too love soups and would like to see the recipe. I have a simple one and will share if you do. :)

That tummy sleeve looks a little uncomfortable...

Hope you're feeling less grumpy by now, even though you're entitled to feel that in your condition I guess :-)

Oh, I love that you're making soup.... Im a hungry monster ;-)

I'm on the FF blogroll and T13 blogroll with you and have never visited? what's the matter with me?

I was curious and read the floor post, and it was great. don't be embarrassed to be transparent.

Re: can openers, I can NEVER use anyone's can opener. I always have to get other people to open cans for me :)

I will DEFINITELY have to get one of those tummy sleeves! Thanks for the heads-up. That'll do wonders for my self-esteem during those uncomfortably months after birth. =) Have fun with the sister! I'm sure you'll enjoy every moment!

Amy...
I love the post about your floors! Do not take it off! I just read it to my mom and she loved it! She said, "what a great analogy!" I love the "Thursday Thirteen." I think I will do it next week...if I remember! Nick and I are getting ready to move (again). Can you hear the bad attitude? Sorry! I'm trying to change it! :) Have a great Saturday with your dear little family! Oh, I think mom, Nick, and I will be at church on Sunday! Hope to see you there!!

Dan,

Yup...the post is staying. I actually posted about my floor with the intention of you getting really offended and never coming back to the house;)
