just two

I only have my two boys today and we're having a splendid day. I'm not going to say it is *easy*....but there seems to be enough room in my head for two. And that is a nice feeling!

Here they are this morning working on some projects out on our new picnic table...my super gift from Joely!

Oh, and by the way...this is my 400th post. I can't believe I have only posted 400. Better get cracking:)

I have a love/hate relationship with our computer...and right now it isn't on my nice list. The thing won't even turn on! It isn't listening to me and I really don't like it when it does that. Puter needs a timeout.

Until we find a solution to this bad behavior I will be MIA. Grrrrr.

time well spent....

I've had some people ask me when I'll start blogging more frequently again. Well, I'm not sure. You see, I used to blog partly to help me manage stress and anxiety...which was great. But now, I'm feeling so good and blogging is just fun now. I don't NEED it anymore. Sorta sad that I needed it for a while! What have I been doing instead? Taking care of myself in different ways...napping, reading books, exercising, eating better. It feels good to take care of myself. It is definitely time well spent.

And speaking of time well spent...took the boys to the dentist today. I took them to a great pediatric dentist here to try and avoid the major anxiety their mama has about going to the dentist. I hope it works. This place was awesome...pretty much like a kid's dream! However, since I took the boys at 11:30 (right before naps and lunch) and Griff had a poopy diaper, the experience still was par for the course:) I'm not sure why I didn't plan this appointment for a day when Joel and I could have tag-teamed it. Perhaps I thought I could hold two nervous children... and two balloons... all while capturing the exams on camera? Nope, not Super Woman!

But Parker is totally Superman! I was so proud of Parker. He was very nervous, but trying to be brave!

two...or three things

Take note...new music in the sidebar. I just love music. I feel like 2007 was the year of music for me. I learned to feel it in a new way. I am in no way a musician but I always knew I would marry one. And I did...lucky me:) Now my boys seem to have it in their blood. Double lucky me. Enjoy the new selections. More to come.

11 months... Yep, my littlest baby is 11 months old or 1 month away from turning one, depending on how you look at it. I couldn't be happier. I love our almost toddler to pieces. Even though he is leaning toward the mischievous side, I'm loving his spirit and zest for life. But man, he is a loud one!

ummm....kind of forgot what number 3 was going to be...hmmmm...

Construction... It started today and I am just thrilled. Yes it is a bit loud, but I can't believe that in less than a month we will have a whole new house. Okay, so half of a new house. But still...exciting!
