~insomnia~

It is almost four in the morning and I've already been up for a couple of hours just waiting to fall asleep again. Is this a normal pregnancy symptom? I've read that a lot of women in their 3rd trimester can't sleep because they can't get comfortable or they keep getting up to go to the bathroom. This isn't the case for me because I, thankfully, have neither of those problems. I just can't sleep and it is super-annoying because I know that my little one will be waking up in a few hours and he won't care if I feel like a zombie...he wakes up running and I have to run after him:)

Anyway, this is all I have to say at 4 am. And believe it or not I can't even find any cute pictures to post right now because they're stuck on my camera with a dead battery. I just thought that blogging a little would help me in the sleep department. So far...not so good :(

Oh Miss Amy... my heart goes out to you. I can completely understand where you're coming from, there have been a few mornings recently that I have lain awake since 4:00am. *Sigh* I've heard its God's way of preparing us for the newborns we're about to give birth to. =) Hang in there!!

Oh how frustrating that can be! That is definitely a luxury of a 1st pregnancy... can't sleep? oh well, I'll catch a nap when I feel like it. Subsequent pregnancies is a different story. I pray Parker has a calm day for you, with a good nap sometime today where you can catch some much needed sleep. Happy Snoozing... (I hope) ~ Julie

i do remember that happening to me and i'd just get up and then take a morning nap... but that was before i had a kid... ! oh man, it must be hard because you can't nap whenever you feel tired. yikes...! too bad we don't realize how great we have it durin gour first pregnancies.. ha ha. love, gina

I hate that feeling - the one where you simply MUST get to sleep because little one will be up soon - it makes it even harder to fall asleep when you're feeling anxious like that.
Hope you got a nap!
